Beaches of Venice
The Venice area is filled with many beautiful beaches, offering a wide variety of activities for visitors. There are a total of three public beach areas which are popular here: Venice Beach, Caspersen Beach and Brohard Park. On all three beaches there is a good chance you will find some teeth from prehistoric sharks. Below you can read a few details on the beaches available in the area and their features.
Venice Beach
Venice Beach is the area most popular in this area and it’s the reason why most people come here to visit. It’s found to the northwest from downtown. The amenities available include lifeguards, showers, restrooms and the parking is free. You can get some sun, play beach volleyball or simply admire this famous area and its occupants. If you’re hungry, there are plenty of places where you can have a picnic or restaurants where you can stop and have a bite.
Service Club Park
This small park can be found in the northern area of Brohard Park and it has access to the beach. The area is very good for anyone that doesn’t want too much noise. It offers a chance for a bi of solitude. You have both showers and restrooms, but now lifeguards, so be careful. You can use the beach, play some beach volleyball or use one of the picnic tables.
Venice Fishing Pier
The Venice Fishing Pear also offers access to the beach and it has a restaurant and a great bar on the beach for you to enjoy. You will find showers and restrooms here and besides enjoying the beach you can also do some fishing.
Caspersen Beach
This beach is located in the south part of Venice and it offers a two mile long beach, which isn’t completely developed. You can either go in the undeveloped area and try to find some shark teeth or you can go in the developed area and have some fun.
